Clinical Care Position Overview

We seek a skilled and dedicated Medical Officer to provide high-quality clinical care in our Medical Units.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The role requires flexibility to handle a rotating roster through 12-hour day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to ongoing patient care under supervision from allocated teams.
  • Work closely with VMOs and nursing teams to manage patient care.
  • Gain exposure to learning and supervision from various specialties including Infectious Diseases, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Geriatric Medicine, General Medicine, Oncology, and Coronary Care Unit.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills to manage a broad spectrum of patients.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Possess current General registration with AHPRA and relevant clinical experience in Australia as PGY4 or above.
