We are seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at Austube Mills in Acacia ridge. As a valued member of our operational team, you will have support and autonomy in managing breakdown and preventative maintenance for the manufacturing and distribution site.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Execute preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide timely feedback via the maintenance management system
  • Liaise with the production team and other trades in the workshop
  • Complete tasks safely and to a high quality
  • Work on shift as required

We value reliable and enthusiastic candidates who can demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold relevant mechanical trade qualification
  • Possess exceptional fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Have a proactive approach, prioritizing safety, customers, and teamwork
  • Crane operation, SAP experience, Forklift Licence, and other tickets are highly regarded
  • Confident communicator able to work unsupervised
  • Experience in Hydraulics and Pneumatics is advantageous
  • Ideal background in Heavy industry or Steel manufacturing environments

Salary:
