As a Mechanical Fitter & Turner, you will maintain and repair plant rotating and fixed equipment with the maintenance team based in Acacia Ridge QLD.

You will also be required to carry out site works, including support to our Surat Basin contracts, to ensure our organisation remains the supplier of choice.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- **Maintain, repair,** and **overhaul** Pumps, Mixers, Mechanical Seals and Other Rotating Equipment and plant systems.
- **Personnel, plant, and environment safety is top priority and responsibility**:

- **Replace** bearings, mechanical seals, and pump alignments and other tasks allocated by supervisor.
- **Communicate** hazards, issues, or faults to maintain smooth operations.
- **Complete **all required corresponding documentation to completed tasks.

**Who are you?**
- **Demonstrated** experience working as a Fitter & Turner in a heavy industrial environment is essential.
- **Experience** with Pumps, Mixers, Mechanical Seals and Other Rotating Equipment is important, including pipe and static equipment system maintenance.
- **Flexible** and** adaptable** as the business requires, and able to work under Minimal Supervision.
- **Computer literate**: Intermediate level using MS office and CMMS.
- **Knowledge **of mechanical seals, Shaft Laser Alignments and condition monitoring advantageous.
