**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced enforcement professional to join our team as a Parking Control Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in traffic management and local government.
Key Responsibilities:**
- To enforce traffic laws and regulations, ensuring public safety and order.
- To conduct regular patrols of designated areas, reporting any damage or non-compliance issues.
- To provide information and assist with infringement withdrawal requests.
- To prepare reports, statements, and evidence for prosecutions and court appearances.
- To maintain accurate records of enforcement activities.
- To identify and report public safety issues and damage to Council assets.
- To support special events and festivals by assisting with traffic control.
- To assist with the introduction of new technology.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:**
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in similar roles is desirable.
- Extensive customer service experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts successfully.
- A current Victorian driver's licence is required.
