We are seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join our team at the Department of Home Affairs. As a key member of our National Operations division, you will play a critical role in providing tactical intelligence support to the Australian Border Force and other external stakeholders.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time position that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a small team environment. You will be responsible for undertaking intelligence research and assessment of current and emerging border threats, providing support to real-time border activity, and producing sound, defensible, and predictive intelligence assessments.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Strong knowledge of the border threat environment and demonstrated experience in the use of analytical techniques
- Ability to work independently and in a small team environment
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing intelligence priorities, operating environment, new information or unexpected obstacles
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of approximately $82,000-$89,000 per annum, plus 15.4% superannuation. You will also have access to flexible working conditions, professional development opportunities, and a range of benefits including salary packaging and novated leasing.
