Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a complex patient cohort.
You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based nursing care, focusing on positive patient outcomes and exceptional patient experiences. Our ICU is known for its respectful and supportive environment, where team members thrive and grow in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluating and monitoring patient progress
- Identifying sudden or subtle changes in patient medical condition
- Caring for patients needs throughout recovery in the ICU
- Creating and implementing effective care plans
- Serving as information conduit between doctors, patients, and families
To succeed in this role, you must possess ICU nursing experience, current nursing registration with AHPRA, and postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care Nursing. You should also have a solid understanding of health information structures and technology, as well as availability to work day and night shifts including on-call participation.
