Job Title:

A Container Handler Operator is required for a challenging and rewarding role. This position involves organizing the container yard, loading/unloading intermodal containers, and working with gate personnel to handle drivers dropping off and picking up equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Stacks and unstacks intermodal containers & chassis.
  • Unloads and loads Intermodal containers from and on to chassis.
  • Follows the established yard plan when stacking containers and chassis.
  • Works with the gate in handling drivers dropping off and picking up equipment.
  • Safely loads and unloads refrigerated containers to and from power lines and wash bays.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Valid state driver's license required.
  • Previous experience in operating a container handler required.
  • Previous experience in operating a crane and/or heavy equipment a plus.
