Refrigeration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our global supply chain, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and conducting pre-trip inspections on refrigerated shipping containers.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in refrigeration systems and gensets, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills. If you possess the ability to deliver high-quality results with attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigerated shipping containers and gensets.
  • Perform necessary repairs on refrigeration units, including electrical and mechanical components.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure proper functioning of refrigerated containers before shipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
  • Assist with ordering parts and managing inventory to ensure necessary tools and materials are available for repairs.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Refrigerated Shipping Container Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration systems and gensets.
  • Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a forklift.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certification in refrigeration or HVAC systems.
  • Previous experience with refrigerated container repair and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
