Job Title: Data Infrastructure Manager

Job Summary:

As a senior professional in the field of data infrastructure management, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical delivery team to achieve stability and reliability of the data technical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the technical delivery team to ensure the health of the data technical infrastructure.
  • Manage and optimize data warehouse platforms and data acquisition capabilities.
  • Develop SME knowledge across products.
  • Oversee disaster recovery tests, patching, and access management.
  • Develop and maintain the roadmap for data warehouse capabilities with a focus on optimization.
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog of work.
  • Manage incidents with the technical team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Consult with business and technology stakeholders on platform capability and propose effective solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts, including oversight of the relationship with IBM.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in the technology industry, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • Proven leadership experience in project delivery and matrix structures.
  • Strong technical knowledge of data warehouse environments, with desired experience in IBM DB2Warehouse on Cloud and Infosphere products.
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management, adaptability, and managing technology assets.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills, internal consultation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and storytelling abilities, with a commercially savvy mindset.
