About the Role:
This physiotherapy position will focus on delivering person-centred care based on individual resident needs, aiming to enhance their overall wellbeing.
This will be achieved through evidence-based practices and building strong relationships with our diverse resident cohort.
We are seeking experienced Physiotherapists for our Ascot & Maylands home, offering multiple permanent full-time roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate physio and mobility programs tailored to residents' needs and preferences
- Manage resources effectively to ensure successful program execution
- Contribute to professional practice standards related to physio programs, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Promote effective communication systems for residents/representatives
- Conduct thorough individual assessments for new residents and regular evaluations thereafter
- Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to discussions
- Maintain awareness of Aged Care Quality Standards and contribute to associated reporting requirements
Essential Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
- Right to Work in Australia
- NDIS worker screening check or willingness to obtain
