**Climate Risk Leadership Opportunity**

About the Role

We are seeking experienced leaders to fill key positions within our organization.

The aim is to integrate and deliver data, models, platforms, and advice to support natural disaster and climate risk management policy and operational decision making.

This work aims to meet the immediate and future data and intelligence needs of government agencies responsible for coordination of a national response before, during, and after natural disasters.

About Our Programs

We have four programs that deliver services and uplift climate and hazard risk capability:

  • Enhancing disaster and climate risk and resilience intelligence through integration
  • Improving Data and Intelligence across key domains
  • Developing Climate and Natural Hazard Science and Intelligence
  • Providing Decision Support to enhance decision-making capabilities

We are seeking leaders for these programs who can drive innovation and excellence in their respective areas.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of climate risk management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of strategic plans and initiatives to advance climate risk management
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build partnerships and achieve shared goals
  • Analyze data and develop insights to inform decision-making

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, public administration)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in climate risk management or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading teams and achieving results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
