The Navy prioritises the wellbeing of its people, providing non-religious pastoral care and spiritual support. As a Defence Chaplaincy Specialist, you will work closely with religious chaplains to deliver this support, conducting civil ceremonies and secular services for various occasions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide non-religious pastoral care and spiritual support to Navy members and their families
  • Conduct civil ceremonies and secular services for individual and ceremonial events
  • Collaborate with religious chaplains in the Navy Chaplaincy Branch
  • Advise on ethical and moral issues affecting the workforce
  • Participate in character development responsibilities in personnel training
