Job Title: Security Officer

As a security professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all hotel guests, employees, and assets.

This role involves monitoring and controlling visitors' and contractors' permit and security check procedures, as well as loss prevention requirements.

You will also conduct regular security rounds and building inspections to comply with established standards, maintain product knowledge, and cooperate with colleagues.

Additional responsibilities include supporting and managing fire and life safety complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts. You will also monitor CCTV and accurately report incidents.

To succeed in this role, you must ensure that the security department operates within legal boundaries and conforms to established regulations. You will also need to stay up-to-date with your job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Requirements include a general education certification or diploma, 1-2 years of experience in the security industry, first aid training and CPR/AED certification, computer literacy in Microsoft Office, effective communication skills, and valid working rights in Australia.
