This role entails supervising a small team responsible for maintaining gardens and performing general upkeep at various client sites.

Your primary objective will be to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities and achieve operational and financial targets.

  • Supervise a small team of General Hands, some with disabilities, to maintain gardens and perform general maintenance tasks
  • Contribute to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and achieving agreed-upon operational and financial objectives
Requirements

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A background in property maintenance or gardening, including extensive knowledge of lawn and weed identification, as well as relevant equipment operation
  • Physical fitness to meet manual handling requirements
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to apply problem-solving and technical skills to resolve maintenance, contract, and scheduling issues
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work for a small team
  • A valid driver's license
  • Confidence in towing a trailer
  • A current NDIS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police check
