Interior Design Opportunity

Coverite Projects is a leading partner in purpose-led construction, delivering master planning, design, and construction services across various sectors. We're looking for a creative and detail-driven Interior Designer – based in Newcastle West to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with clients. They should be confident in communicating regularly with clients to understand their objectives and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create attractive, functional designs and layouts for various projects.
  • Meet with clients to understand their needs and aspirations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to address project requirements.
  • Prepare presentations, including 2D/3D drawings, mock-ups, and renderings.
  • Develop detailed interior documentation, schedules, and specifications.
  • Source finishes, fittings, furniture, and prepare quotes in line with project goals.
  • Conduct site visits to review progress and ensure design intent is achieved.
  • Stay across industry knowledge, materials, and design trends to deliver the best outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in an interior design role, ideally within the commercial, education, aged care, or hospitality sectors.
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong creative, conceptual, and communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently present to and liaison with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and workflows.
