Dynamic leaders are sought to oversee the daily operations of a well-established, community-focused service in Dulwich Hill/Hurlstone Park. As Centre Director/Centre Manager, you will lead a team of educators to deliver exceptional care and education, fostering a culture of belonging and collaboration that encourages professional growth.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, including mentorship and team development. They will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with national quality standards and regulations. Effective communication is crucial in building strong relationships with children, families, and the community.

To succeed in this role, you will need to drive continuous improvement, discussing routines and implementing effective learning experiences. You will also be responsible for maintaining self-assessment to review and improve practices. Additionally, you will manage occupancy, growth, and reputation, maintaining our centres' strong reputation within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth centre management and compliance with national quality framework and regulations.
  • Family and Community Engagement: Communicate openly and warmly, conduct centre tours for prospective families, showcasing vibrant learning environments and unique strengths.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement: Discuss routines and implement effective learning experiences, maintain self-assessment to review and improve practices.
  • Occupancy, Growth and Reputation Management: Build and maintain our centre's strong reputation within the community, drive enrolment through meaningful family engagement and showcase unique offerings.
