Senior Spiritual Care Leader

Located in the picturesque city of Wagga Wagga, this role presents an opportunity to provide nurturing spiritual care and support to a diverse community within an aged care home.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality person-centred care, fostering strong relationships with customers, carers, staff, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct worship services, staff devotions, funerals, memorial services, and other rites of passage.

Support and encourage staff and volunteers, document pastoral contacts, report activities, attend team meetings, and manage a team of Pastoral Care Volunteers.

Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy or tertiary theological qualifications with a willingness to undertake chaplaincy specific training within the first 12 months of employment.

A personal commitment to growth in the Christian faith.

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients and work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
