About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Local Government Professional to join our team at Acclaimed Workforce. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our turfs, gardens, and oval surrounds to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laying turf and line marking pitches
  • Fertilising using tractors and fertiliser spreaders
  • Truck driving - minimum LR required
  • Removing and installing soccer goals
  • Topdressing using loaders and tractors
  • Turf maintenance and tractor verti draining
  • LL & LB tickets required

Garden Bed Staff Responsibilities:

  • Truck driving and mulching
  • Pruning and planting
  • Hedging and BBQ cleaning
  • Backpack weed spraying (Chem-Cert holders only)
  • Hand weeding and litter removal
  • Whipper snipping and hand mowing
  • Blowing paths and irrigation repairs

Oval Surround Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Truck driving - minimum LR required
  • Mowing of dry land open space areas with JD front decks
  • Whipper snipping and picking up litter
  • Backpack weed spraying (Chem-Cert holders only)

About You:

  • Current White Card
  • Chem Cert ticket highly desirable
  • Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
  • Have a current drivers' licence and reliable transport
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Must reside in Australia to apply
  • Current police clearance

Selection Criteria:

The right candidate will meet selection criteria based on previous experience, pass an OH&S assessment & skills testing. Medical screening may also form part of the recruitment process. A minimum of two (2) contactable, work-related referees must be supplied in order to be considered for this position.
