Renewable Energy Lead

We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy professional to lead the technical aspects of projects in Australia and New Zealand. This role will be responsible for managing engineering activities, leading due diligence, and conducting energy yield assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage engineering activities to support project development, including acquisitions, across all technical aspects.
  • Lead technical due diligence for acquisition and/or financing, and manage internal and external engineering service providers.
  • Conduct energy yield assessments (EYA) and have detailed knowledge of factors affecting solar farm performance.
  • Support the assessment of new PV & BESS technologies, including modules, inverters, structures, and BMS.
  • Develop basic design, including equipment sizing, layouts, SLDs, civils, and BOP equipment and systems.
  • Review OEM, EPC, ICP, and O&M contractor bids, reports, orders, etc., for compliance with Principal's Requirements and Contract appendices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Masters in Renewable Energy or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in the Renewable Energy industry, in both Solar PV and BESS sectors.
  • Experience with large-scale Solar PV, BESS, and Hybrid projects in the region, working on the Developer, EPC Contractor, or Technical Advisor side.
