UH-60/S70 Blackhawk Pilot

Coulson Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced UH-60/S70 Blackhawk Pilot to join our team. As a key member of our aerial firefighting and emergency services operations, you will be responsible for conducting aerial work operations, including firefighting, equipment transport, reconnaissance, search and rescue, and disaster mitigation.

• Act as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or Co-pilot of S70A-9 Black Hawk helicopter in firefighting operations and other missions as required by the company.
• Conduct aerial work operations such as Aerial Fire Suppression, Dispensing operations, External load, Intel, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR), Search and Rescue, and any approved specialist operations in support of Emergency Service Organizations.
• Work on a roster away from home base for extended periods at a time at short notice.
• Be willing to fly other aircraft types if qualified and as required by the company.
• Devote time to group or self-study of aircraft systems, EP's, etc. and be available for training and check-flights as required by Coulson Group.
• Maintain written and computerized flight logs and records.
• Ensure all flights, operations, and other work follow CASA Regulations, Company Manuals, policies, and client SOP's and are achieved safely, effectively, and efficiently.
• Maintain self and helicopter in a constant state of readiness for dispatch to emergency and non-emergency operations.

• Australian Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) with a Helicopter (H) endorsement.
• At least 3000 hours of rotary-wing experience.
• Australian Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) certification.
• Crew Resource Management (CRM) training.
• Dangerous Goods Awareness certification.
• Low Level Firefighting rating.
• Low Level Sling Load Rating.
• Minimum 3 years and 500 hours of experience in remote area and unimproved landing area operations.
• Minimum 3 years and 500 hours of background in Part 138 Aerial work operations, including firefighting and/or external load operations.
• The right to live and work in Australia.

• UH-60/S70 Blackhawk endorsement.
• Grade 1 Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) Rating.
• Multi-Engine Instrument Rating.
