Midwifery Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Midwifery Manager to join our team at Eastern Health. As an Associate Midwifery Manager, you will play a key role in providing leadership and guidance to our midwifery team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the midwifery team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current valid midwifery registration with AHPRA.
- Level 3 RANZCOG.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a birthing suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
- A willingness to embrace Eastern Health values and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Excellent patient assessment skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and consumer engagement.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
