We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Field Technician to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, operating machinery and site equipment, and collecting and logging soil samples. If you have experience in drilling, logging boreholes, and assisting with feature surveys, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drilling Operations: Drilling and logging boreholes using mechanical and hand auger methods.
  • Site Machinery Operations: Operating ute-mounted augers and tube samplers to collect and log soil samples.
  • Sampling and Data Collection: Collecting and logging soil samples to Australian Standard (AS) standards.
  • Assisting Teams: Assisting with feature surveys, report preparation, and supporting drafting, engineering, and NATA lab teams.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinating daily schedules independently and liaising with internal teams and clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience and Qualifications: 1-2 years of field/site experience preferred; valid driver's license essential; White Card mandatory; experience operating machinery and interest or exposure to survey equipment desirable.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated and comfortable working outdoors; basic Microsoft Office proficiency required.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude required.
