Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing customized care and services to our clients, supporting them to maintain their well-being and independence in their own surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility
  • Assisting clients with shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and providing transportation as needed
  • Providing companionship and support to clients, encouraging them to pursue their interests and hobbies
  • Working collaboratively with the Home Care Manager and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Requirements

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • A current driver's license and access to a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A warm and caring nature, with a commitment to delivering customer service excellence
