Job Overview

This is an opportunity for a skilled technician to work in the control room of a modern coal operation.

The role requires effective and efficient operation of equipment to achieve production targets.

The ideal candidate will have technical capability and a positive attitude, with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor CHPP equipment to facilitate achievement of plans and targets.
  • Participate and contribute to a proactive safety culture.
  • Promote and maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of values.
  • Work proactively with the CHPP team to ensure that production targets are achieved.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in CHPP operations (control room, process operations, and train loading).
  • A qualified electrical tradesperson.
  • Clean coal stockpile dozer competencies/experience.
  • A high regard for personal safety and the safety of teammates.
  • The ability to follow a plan and adapt to a challenging environment.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to working proactively.
  • A team player with a high level of safety awareness, outstanding performance, and willingness to contribute to success.
