Energy and Resources Team Lead

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Energy & Resources (E&R) service delivery team to deliver accurate, timely and effective E&R meteorological services.
You will guide the strategic direction of E&R service delivery, contributing to operational excellence through collaboration with Environmental Prediction, Decision Support Services and National Production teams.
The role requires an understanding of energy and/or resources sectors, science and operational forecasting, as well as exceptional interpersonal, technical and customer relationship management skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the E&R service delivery team to deliver high-quality services in a commercial environment.
- Oversee the design, quality and delivery of operational services.
- Ensure the ongoing professional development of E&R Operational Meteorologists.
- Coordinate studies and investigations into weather-related events.
- Participate in the design, development and implementation of projects aimed at improving procedures, products and services.
Mandatory Qualifications
- A degree or diploma from an Australian educational institution or a comparable overseas qualification is required.
