We are seeking skilled lawyers to join our Conflicts Team, which is responsible for managing conflicts of interest and information barriers globally. This role offers a unique opportunity to use your legal skills in a strategic, commercial setting and gain insight into the firm's global clients and sectors.

Job Description:
  • This position involves advising on complex legal and commercial conflicts problems and liaising with partners and staff on conflicts issues and queries.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with global sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering obligations.
  • You will review, draft, and advise on conflict provisions in firm engagement letters, firm policies, and other client agreements, including panel arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve complex legal and commercial conflicts
  • Liaise with partners and staff on conflicts issues
  • Ensure compliance with global sanctions and AML obligations
  • Review, draft, and advise on conflict provisions in client agreements
Requirements:
  • Admitted as a Solicitor in Australia or another jurisdiction where HSF operates
  • At least 3 years' post-admission experience with excellent research, technical, and analytical skills
  • A proactive approach with the ability to adapt to competing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • A desire to work outside traditional private practice in an alternative legal career
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team
