About the Position

We are seeking a highly driven leader to join our Business Resilience program as a key member of our Operational Safety team. This is an outstanding opportunity to build on your career and take it to the next level by making a tangible impact that matters.

You will lead the Business Resilience program at Metro Trains Melbourne, ensuring we have the capability, plans, systems, and processes in place to support a swift and efficient business response and recovery following unplanned disruption.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining a robust Business Resilience program;
  • Facilitating training and ongoing coaching for managers to enhance resilience capabilities and ensure legislative compliance;
  • Supporting leaders through adequate Incident Management Team (IMT) roster coverage and capability; and
  • Continuously improving policies, procedures, plans, and systems related to Incident Management, Emergency Management, and Emergency Plans.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a highly effective communicator with proven leadership experience within a dynamic operating environment or similar. Your skills and qualifications should include:

  • A strong understanding of Australian Standards and relevant regulations;
  • Strategic and commercial acumen, with experience in delivering change management programs; and
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with various stakeholders.
