Occupational Therapist Role in Schools and Early Years

We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team, delivering high-quality services to preschool and school-aged children. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team alongside speech pathologists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure holistic client care.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of occupational therapy services, including individual therapy, group therapy, and professional development opportunities.
  • A substantial portion of the caseload will involve working with parents and school staff to support students' individual needs.
  • Opportunities exist to provide assessment services and work in rural and remote communities, offering face-to-face services to children seeking assessment or intervention.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
