We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Royal Far West, providing high-quality occupational therapy services to preschool and school-aged children.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, current membership or eligibility for AHPRA Registration, and demonstrated understanding of the core components of paediatric Occupational Therapy. They will also possess effective written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and file notes, as well as awareness of Child Safe practices.

You will also have opportunities to engage in quality improvement projects and research initiatives, develop both your clinical and non-clinical skills, and participate in in-community visit opportunities.

- Job Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current membership or eligibility for AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated understanding of the core components of paediatric Occupational Therapy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Awareness of Child Safe practices
- Highly developed computer skills, including use of Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Ability to travel for work and hold a full and current driver's license
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a school setting or in collaboration with schools
- Understanding and appreciation of the benefits and challenges for children living in rural and remote areas
- Experience working with children/adolescents with disability and/or complex developmental, social-emotional, learning and behavioural challenges
