Neonatal Nursing Expert

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Butterfly Ward at the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH). As a Paediatric Intensive Care Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to critically ill children and their families.
The Butterfly Ward is a 35-bed neonatal unit comprising both intensive care and high dependency beds and receives up to 800 referrals per year. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide individualised care plans and deliver best-practice care to meet the unique needs of each child.
You will promote patient and family education and involvement in decision-making related to their healthcare, ensuring that they receive comprehensive support throughout their treatment journey.
In this role, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve desired health outcomes for patients and their families, leveraging your expertise to drive quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of paediatric nursing practice.
