**Job Title:** Residency Liaison Officer
About the RoleThis is a dynamic opportunity for an individual to make a positive impact on the lives of students residing at Broome Residential College. As a Residency Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being, safety, and education of our students.
Main Responsibilities:- Student Supervision: Supervise students and maintain regular communication with colleagues, parents, and school staff to support student development and wellbeing.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain effective relationships with colleagues, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless collaboration and student success.
- Initiative and Adaptability: Work night shifts, including solo duties, and demonstrate initiative, adaptability, helpfulness, proactivity, and approachability.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa with relevant work rights.
- National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check.
- First Aid Certificates (HLTAID009 and HLTAID011) prior to first rostered shift working with students.
- LR Class Driver's Licence and Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation within six months of commencement.
- Certificate IV in Community Services – Student Residential Care (CHC42021) within six months of commencement.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to student welfare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
