Job Description

As a key member of our business services organisation, you will design and develop innovative software solutions to support commercial projects.

  • Design high-quality software solutions using Java v17 and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Testers, and Product Owners in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
  • Conduct thorough peer code reviews to ensure technical excellence.
  • Participate actively in planning, backlog refinement, and user story estimation.
  • Elaborate user stories into coding tasks, focusing on technical and functional aspects.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their skills.
  • Identify and resolve production issues, contribute to release management, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of experience in a professional role similar to this position.
  • Expertise in Java v17, JavaScript (including VueJS), Unit Testing (JUnit with Complex Mocking), Developing and utilising APIs (Jersey), MS SQL Server, Continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) and DevSecOps culture.
  • Familiarity with HTML5/CSS, Test Driven Development, and Behaviour driven development.
