Job Overview

The Management Accountant role involves preparing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and providing insightful analysis of business performance to clients. This full-time position requires a driven individual to lead engagements, manage workflow, client relationships, and technical challenges.

Main Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Monthly budgeting and forecasting
  • Maintaining accounting records in accounting systems
  • Tax compliance work, including preparation of GST and income tax returns
  • Financial investigations for client projects
  • Providing assurance on the accuracy of information contained in financial reports
  • Identifying process improvements and driving internal efficiencies
Skill Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (minimum Bachelor's degree; Masters level highly regarded)
  • Operational finance experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MYOB, Xero, Xero Tax, and other accounting software
  • Attention to detail and ownership of work
  • Ability to adapt and manage changing requirements
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
