Overview We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Fractional CFO to oversee the financial health and direction of our organization.
This role requires both high-level financial leadership and hands-on involvement in reporting and analysis across the entire company, as well as at each business division level.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in multi-entity or multi-division environments and possess the ability to provide clear financial insight to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities Develop and lead the financial strategy of the company, ensuring alignment with overall business goals Produce timely, accurate financial reports on a company-wide level as well as per business division level, offering visibility into both overall and division-specific performance Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow for the organization and each division Present financial updates and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board Oversee accounting operations and coordinate with internal/external accountants Monitor key financial and operational metrics across all business lines Ensure compliance with relevant legal, tax, and regulatory standards Identify areas for cost optimization and revenue growth within each business division Assist in financial due diligence, fundraising, and investor relations when required Enhance financial systems, controls, and reporting processes across all units Qualifications Proven experience as CFO, VP of Finance or in a similar financial role CPA, CFA or MBA preferred Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting at both consolidated and division levels Strong understanding of corporate financial law, risk management, and compliance Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Hands-on experience with financial software & modern ERP cloud computing (MYOB Advanced/Acumatica currently used at Southern Pumping) Exceptional communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently Time requirements 1 day per week/fortnight or as required noting that in initial stages may require more days.
