About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educational support professional to provide vital assistance to teachers in delivering high-quality education to students.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing specific support tasks, coordinating educational programs, and providing routine supervision to students. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality education.

Duties:

  • Support teachers with planning student routines and assisting with lesson preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and students to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
  • Provide basic physical care and wellbeing support for students, including toileting, meals, and lifting.
  • Assist students in understanding basic tasks and information, promoting comprehension and confidence.
  • Address immediate behavioural presentations in the classroom, adhering to school policy and procedure.
  • Supervise individuals or groups of up to 4 students within a classroom setting.
  • Liaise with external providers of support services regarding clearly defined support needs and resources.
