Job Title: Operations Manager Australia

Lead the Deployment of Solar Technology Solutions

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the deployment of cutting-edge solar technology solutions across PV and BESS projects in Australia & New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage configuration, testing, and commissioning of monitoring systems to ensure seamless data transmission to VCOM Cloud.
  • Act as main technical contact for EPCs, asset owners, traders, network operators, and O&M providers to provide expert guidance on solar technology solutions.
  • Coordinate with global teams for technical support and updates to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Train clients on VCOM Cloud usage and reporting features to enhance their understanding of solar energy generation.
  • Handle order processing, procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination to streamline project operations.
  • Maintain project data in CRM and internal tools; support invoicing and documentation to ensure accurate financial tracking.
  • Assist sales team with proposals, tenders, and quotations to drive business growth.
  • Represent meteocontrol in the region and ensure project excellence through rigorous quality control measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7–10 years' experience in project management within renewable energy or tech services.
  • Strong knowledge of PV systems, BESS, SCADA, and monitoring platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware setup and data systems (blue'Log/VCOM a plus).
  • Experience in procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
  • Proficient in project tools, Excel, ERP/CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Business-fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • High willingness to travel across Australia & New Zealand.
