Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to oversee camps allocated to them within our 'All-abilities' camps category.

This role involves leading a team of Administrators pre-program and leading a team of Program Facilitators during the program. Our All-abilities camp programs are located mainly in South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland, Northern Territory, Central Australia and Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate the planning and execution of each All-abilities Camp program assigned.
  2. Lead and participate in camp programs in locations across South Australia and interstate.
  3. Serve as a point of contact for guardians who have kids involved in our programs.

Candidates will be responsible for coordinating a single camp approximately once every 4 weeks. They should be comfortable with being away from home for 3 or 4 nights to attend camps in various locations.

Requirements
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
  • A strong passion for outdoor education and positive wellbeing of young people.
  • Physical fitness and capability to participate in camp activities.
  • Knowledge or passion for adventure-based activities (bonus points for qualified outdoor educators).
  • Alignment with our core values.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with administration and Google suite of tools.
  • Multiple years of experience in an educational role (e.g., classroom teaching, working with special needs students, outdoor education).

Essential qualifications include:

  • Working with Children's Check or Teacher's Registration.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.

This is a full-time contract position with opportunities for extension. Our office is based in Everard Park, SA 5035.
