The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to design person-centred, high-quality mental health and AOD activities to meet identified local needs;
  • To implement evaluation and monitoring activities to support primary health care projects, programs, and activities;
  • Maintain the quality and integrity of information and data used for design/re-design and evaluation purposes;
  • To build constructive working relationships to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Communicate complex concepts to various target audiences.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in the health field and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally with previous experience in primary health care and/or mental health sector;
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills and proven ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively;
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving outcomes through integration and partnership approaches;
  • Understanding of the Australian Health System, including new and emerging models of care and evidence-based approaches within the area of mental health and AOD;
  • Understanding of design and development principles and methodologies within a commissioning and procurement environment.

You may have had experience in previous roles in the primary health sector, such as Program Development Consultant, Program Design Officer, Co-design Officer, Program Development Officer, Evaluation Officer, or Health Service Development Officer.
