We operate a diverse fleet of versatile aircraft, including the A321, A330, and B737, catering to the needs of our domestic and international freight operations. Our recent addition of two converted A330 freighters has significantly increased our capacity, enabling us to transport up to 50 tonnes of freight per flight.

Job Description
This position requires applicants to have an Australian ATPL (A) or an Australian CPL (A) with passes in all relevant theory subjects. You should also possess an Australian Multi-Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D and 3D endorsements, a current CASA Class 1 medical certificate, ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6, and a minimum of 500 hours of fixed-wing flight time.
Apart from these qualifications, successful candidates will have experience in command of a multi-engine aircraft or completion of a multi-crew cooperation course. They must also hold a current passport with unrestricted access to all Qantas Freight ports of call and be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.

As a member of our team, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Our pilots fly between 20 to 50 hours per month, with rosters that offer a great work-life balance. Lifestyle & Rosters
Pilots can expect to start their journey on the narrow-body fleet, based in either Melbourne or Brisbane, with domestic flight operations running exclusively on weekdays. This leaves your weekends free for personal pursuits, while night flying offers its own unique challenges and rewards. Depending on roster shift patterns, you can expect a varied schedule that allows you to grow professionally and personally.

Our comprehensive Pilot Training Program is tailored to maintain our renowned safety record and equip our pilots for success. With Evidence-Based Training (EBT), our pilots receive realistic training scenarios and hands-on experiences that elevate their piloting skills to the highest level.
Fleet & Bases
- We operate a modern fleet of 5 A321s, with 6 additional aircraft set to join by the end of 2024, and 2 A330s.
- We have bases in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney, offering flexible working arrangements and career advancement opportunities.
