Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to stay current with emerging technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement large-scale data pipelines using Cloudera, Teradata, Apache, SAS, Mainframe, Qlik, SAP (HANA), DB2, Tableau, Power BI, and Informatica.
  • Lead a team of data engineers to establish data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and related infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with senior executives and leaders to ensure alignment with business operations and strategic goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

5 years of experience working in a data warehousing environment.Extensive leadership experience in establishing data architecture.Proficiency in data modelling, database design, and ETL processes.A strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and collaboration experience.
