About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Backstage Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that backstage areas are clean, well-presented, and safe at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for artists and visiting professionals.
  • Area Maintenance: Ensure backstage areas are clean and well-presented at all times.
  • Event Reporting: Maintain accurate event reports using Microsoft 365 and Event Management software.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple departments to achieve seamless event execution.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Customer service or events experience preferred.
  • Theatre Background: Theatre or arts background highly regarded.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a calm and professional approach.
  • Safety Procedures: Ability to manage safety procedures and emergency protocols.
  • Roster Requirements: Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
