About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Lead to join our top-tier EPCM team in Perth. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of process plant modifications, infrastructure, and power distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design team in creating single-line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, equipment layouts, block diagrams, and terminations using Microstation 2D and/or 3D software.
  • Develop and review detailed designs for power distribution works, substations, car dumpers, conveyors, and crushers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mining process plants, including powerlines, HV distribution, MCCs, HV VSDs, HV switchboards, switchrooms, motors, and cables.
  • Strong knowledge of Microstation 2D and/or 3D software.
  • Excellent communication and interaction skills.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A 12-month initial contract with opportunities for extension.
  • A flexible start and finish date to suit your needs.
