Nursing Assistant

As a skilled Nursing Care Provider, you will deliver exceptional service to our donors by bringing excellent customer-facing skills and a genuine passion for the role.
You will play a key role in supporting donors through their donation process. Full training is provided, and you will need the curiosity and motivation to learn about collecting blood and biological products.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate.
- Create a positive donor experience.
- Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.
- Set up machines and collections equipment.
- Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets.
- Monitor donors post-donation and assist them with rebooking their next donation.
- Work collaboratively to achieve collection targets.
A typical day could involve performing these tasks with support from paid and flexible self-paced training to ensure your success.
Requirements:- Be comfortable with needles and blood/biological materials.
- Occasionally lift between 9-22.7kgs.
- Support and foster a fantastic team culture.
- Frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products.
- Be flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster.
