The Board of Better Place Australia is looking to appoint two voluntary, Non-Executive Directors to expand its membership to nine. We seek candidates with proven expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- The mental health sector, whether through lived experience or professional background
- Senior clinical and management skills relevant to our service offerings
- Professional background in Family Law Services, such as family dispute resolution
- Experience in policy, advocacy, and government relations within related sectors
The Board's primary role is to provide leadership and strategic direction for Better Place Australia, ensuring effective implementation of our recently developed five-year Strategic Plan. Board members are expected to:
- Collaborate as a cohesive team
- Attend up to eight meetings annually, with options for in-person or online participation
- Engage in at least one board committee
- Devote adequate time and commitment to fulfill their responsibilities
