As a key member of the Brisbane Corporate Tax team at EDT Global Pty Ltd., you will provide integrated advice to private business owners, family groups, and high-net worth clients. Key responsibilities
  • Deliver customized technical income tax advice to meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, assisting with compliance related to related party loans, tax planning, and structuring advice.
  • Manage tax compliance and governance frameworks for large client groups, including those with significant trusts.
  • Assist dynamic clients in navigating transactions, providing strategic tax insights and support.
  • Advise on business structuring and conduct tax due diligence to optimize tax positions.
  • Address tax issues affecting cross-border investments and structures, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist with submissions, reviews, and audits conducted by revenue authorities.
  • Provide tax advisory support to the broader team and other professionals, including members of our Affinity network, fostering integrated solutions for clients.
Requirements
  • Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
  • Significant relevant experience in a professional services environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to formulate and present technical advice to a wide range of audiences
  • Excellent stakeholder management, written and spoken communication skills, with an interest in developing strong client relationships
  • A willingness and ability to provide coaching and mentorship to less experienced team members
