Engineer for Strategic Asset Management

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Engineer to join our Defence Fuels team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Project Engineer and the Engineering and Strategic Asset Manager in scoping and managing engineering efforts.

This role requires expertise in managing engineering scopes across multiple work fronts while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities and requirements:

  • Serve as the primary contact for the Operations and Maintenance team, providing them with essential engineering support.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned sites to support operational continuity and provide backup support for Superintendents and Supervisors as required.
  • Co-ordinate risk assessments in support of operational requirements and help manage changes, engaging appropriate technical expertise as needed.
  • Assist the Senior Project Engineer on the development and delivery of business processes to define the scope and method of delivery for the Engineering & Strategic Asset Management team, and their interfaces into the broader contract team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of technical and stakeholder engagement skills. Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineer with Tank Storage experience would be highly regarded.
