Job Overview

As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Cloud Operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain creative cloud solutions for our clients.

This is a support-focused role that requires daily collaboration with the digital operations team. Key responsibilities include supporting and developing the digital ops team, focusing on service delivery and continuous improvement within a managed service provider environment.

You will work closely with other operations staff, engineering teams, and client services to ensure cloud services are available 24/7. A positive attitude, combined with strong team mentoring, planning, and communication skills, will be essential to your success.

Responsibilities

  • Support and develop the digital ops team with a focus on Service Delivery and Continuous Improvement within a managed service provider environment
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to build strong relationships
  • Ensure cloud services are available 24/7 in coordination with other operations staff, engineering teams, and client services
  • Investigate, identify, and resolve issues in a live production environment
  • Improve the reliability and security of solutions and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Enable greater process efficiencies and capability enhancements

Requirements

  • Prior experience in an entry-level cloud operations role is required
  • Experience with Service Delivery and Continuous Improvement in a service provider environment
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure – Amazon AWS
  • Experience with optimisation, reliability, patching, and security
  • Administration of Linux/Windows Server
  • A positive can-do attitude and professional approach to working with customers and internal teams
  • Up-to-date certifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills and a successful track record in building strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders
