Claims Portfolio Manager

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a portfolio of General Liability claims from inception through to resolution, exercising expert knowledge of public liability and professional indemnity policy wordings to provide advice to insured clients on matters of indemnity, liability, quantum, reserving, and settlement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a comprehensive portfolio of General Liability claims
  • Interpret complex public liability and professional indemnity policy wordings
  • Provide informed advice to insured clients on key aspects of claims management
  • Liaise with various third-party providers, including solicitors, loss adjusters, brokers, and barristers, to ensure timely and effective resolution of claims in accordance with client service instructions and company guidelines.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 2 years of experience in Claims Management, specifically in Public Liability and/or Professional Indemnity claims
  • Relevant industry-specific ANZIIF qualifications desirable
  • Excellent exposure to claims involving Third Party Liability
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Proficiency in Database and Microsoft Office applications
