Telehealth General Practitioner for Aged Care

Position Overview:
We are looking for a committed and empathetic VR General Practitioner to provide essential healthcare services to various aged care facilities.
This position combines telehealth and in-person consultations, concentrating on the evaluation and management of elderly patients.
Role Highlights:
Enhance your clinical skills through experience in both virtual and direct patient interactions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Primary Duties:
- Virtual Consultations: Facilitate remote consultations via Microsoft Teams for residents in aged care settings.
- On-Site Assessments: Conduct in-person visits to the aged care facility approximately once a month for thorough evaluations and care.
- Preparation Tasks: Confirm Teams links for consultations, navigate and assess the IT systems of the facilities, and review prior consultation records.
- Consultation Management: Address outstanding results, perform consultations, complete necessary documentation, and work in conjunction with nursing personnel.
- Record Keeping: Ensure all documentation is accurately filled out, signed, and forwarded to the nursing staff.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Contractual Roles: $160-$180+GST per hour for VR GPs in casual contract positions.
- Permanent Positions: Salaried roles available for permanent positions, including leave benefits starting from $330,000 (including superannuation). The salary reflects a full-time (5 days a week) role and is adjusted based on the number of days worked.
Work Locations:
- Brisbane – Sunshine Coast: 2 days per month.
- Sunshine Coast: 2 days per week.
