Job Title: Road Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of our Roads and Drainage team, responsible for maintaining infrastructure across Ipswich.

As part of a skilled crew, you will perform manual labor tasks, including excavation and demolition, and operate heavy equipment such as rollers and machinery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out repairs to footpaths, kerbs, channels, stormwater assets, and underground pipes
  • Participating in planning, hazard identification, and risk assessment of work activities
  • Communicating with supervisors, team members, colleagues, and customers

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A current C Class Drivers Licence
  • A current Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers Licence (highly desirable)
  • Experience in Civil Construction (highly desirable)
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • A focus on enhancing the quality of life for the community
